Three-time reigning UEFA Europa League champion Sevilla will have a new manager next season, with the club confirming that Unai Emery will be leaving and that former Chile manager Jorge Sampaoli is arriving Monday for negotiations to replace him.

Emery has been widely speculated to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, replacing Laurent Blanc, though that move has not been finalized. He guided the club to the three Europa League titles and a pair of fifth-place finishes in La Liga in his three seasons with the club. Despite finishing seventh this past season, Sevilla will take part in the UEFA Champions League by virtue of beating Liverpool in the Europa League final

Sampaoli has been out of management since falling out with the Chilean federation in January. The fiery Argentine guided La Roja to the 2015 Copa America title on home soil and also led Chile to the round of 16 at the 2014 World Cup, falling to host Brazil on penalties. A disciple and successor of Marcelo Bielsa, Sampaoli would make for an intriguing rival for countryman and Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone. After Sampaoli's lengthy club coaching career in South America, Sevilla would mark his first foray into Europe.
