One of the more anticipated matchups of the group stage ended as a dud from a scoring standpoint, as both Germany and Poland were stifled in a 0-0 draw in Paris. The point helps both teams, as they each have four and sit poised to go through to the knockout stage, while the result eliminates Ukraine from knockout contention.

Arkadiusz Milik had Poland's best two chances, both in the second half. Not even 30 seconds in after the break he had chance to head home from point-blank range, but he mistimed his effort and had it scuff harmlessly off his nose.

Later in the half, he whiffed on an open chance from the center of the Germany box, letting goalkeeper Manuel Neuer off the hook.

Mesut Ozil nearly scored late for Germany, but his 16-yard blast was denied by Poland goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
