France and Portugal will meet for the Euro 2016 title on Sunday at the Stade de France in Paris.

France is aiming to lock up another major tournament title on home soil after a 2–0 win over Germany in the semifinals. France also won Euro 1984 and the 1998 World Cup at home.

Portugal finished third in its group and reached the semifinal without winning a single game in regulation, drawing three times in the group stage before beating Croatia in extra time and Poland on penalties. In the semifinal, Portugal beat upstart Wales 2–0 to advance to the final.

Antoine Griezmann leads the tournament in scoring and paces France offensively. He netted twice against Germany.

As usual, Cristiano Ronaldo anchors Portugal, looking for his first major international tournament win. The Real Madrid star is his country’s all-time leading scorer.
