Watch: Ibrahimovic scores winner for Manchester United at Crystal Palace

Manchester United won its third straight match in the Premier League, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic's late goal the decider in a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

Ibrahimovic, who had set up Paul Pogba's opener just before halftime in somewhat controversial fashion, latched onto a pass from Pogba in the 88th minute and slotted home with a classy left-footed finish for his ninth goal of the season. The win helped Manchester United keep pace with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham, all of whom were midweek winners. Among the league's top contenders, only Arsenal slipped up, falling to Everton 2-1 on Tuesday.

Palace was in position to hold Manchester United to a draw after James McArthur scored in the 66th minute after a lovely set-up from Damien Delaney. That followed United's opener, which Pogba scored from close range after Ibrahimovic redirected a free kick in his path with the top of his chest, coming close to using his arm.

Manchester United sits in sixth place, with 27 points from 16 games.

The Red Devils remain well behind Chelsea, which sits first with 40 points after a 1-0 triumph over Sunderland.
