Adrian, West Ham's goalkeeper, took to Twitter to respond to the owner David Sullivan's claim that Joe Hart is the "best goalkeeper" he has worked with.

Hart, who has signed for the Hammers on a season long loan, was announced on the 18th July after much speculation about where he might end up.

Sullivan gave praise to Hart as he posted his thoughts on the club's website. They have previously worked together at Birmingham City where Hart was also signed on loan.

Sullivan's remark agitated Adrian leading to his outburst on Twitter where he said: "Thanks for your sincerity! But you still having 'two great professionals' respecting, fighting & defending this badge".

The pair will meet for the first time as team mates once Hart lands in Austria. According to the Claret and Hugh, the club are aware of Adrian's comment and he will not face any punishment as he is known as being particularly passionate.

The news comes after an unspectacular season for Adrian where he only recorded 16 Premier League appearances, which is the lowest of his four campaigns in a West Ham shirt.

The addition of Hart and Adrian's latest outburst could mean that his Hammers days are numbered. Newcastle and Crystal Palace are ready to battle it out, reports The Sun, should this be the case.
