The 25-year-old is used to stunning defenders onto their backsides - in Ligue 1 and La Liga before that - but shocked quite a few fans on social media following a questionable hair dye-job.

Quite what the trickster was going for is anyone's guess (perhaps The Joker, but he got bored halfway through?), but essentially his hair is now a block colour of snot green as depicted on his Instagram Story, and... that's it.

No exuberant costume, not elaborate face painting, just some random green hair because why the hell not? 

Neymar has always been into his own appearance and fashion - a simple scroll through his Instagram feed is very much confirmation of this - and it's fair to say he is prone to making bold decisions.

On the pitch, the forward is currently serving a one-game suspension after being harshly red-carded for barging a theatrical Lucas Ocampos of Marseille on Sunday - which, thinking about it, could well be the reason for Neymar's spiral into insanity...
