On May 13, 2012, Manchester City claimed its first EPL Championship in what SI later called, "The greatest day in Premier League history." City entered the final day of the league season tied with Manchester United atop the standings. The two teams kicked off their games simultaneously, and it appeared that United would claim the league title after sealing a win over Sunderland, as Man City trailing QPR heading into stoppage time. But City scored goals in the 92nd and 94th minutes to claim a miracle victory and the league championship.
