Red Bull Crashed Ice, which began in March 2001, is a world tour event in which racers (typically former ice hockey players) descend a steep ice canal filled with bumps, jumps, and rollers and obstacles four at a time, jostling for position as they reach speeds of up to 45 mph. This year's season opener was held on Nov. 27 and 28, in Quebec City, Canada.
The ADAC MX Masters is a German motocross series aimed at boosting the sport's visibility and promoting young riders. It consists of three classes, the premier ADAC MX Masters class and two junior levels, the ADAC MX Youngster Cup and the ADAC MX Junior Cup. Last week riders muddied it up in Holzgerlingen, Germany.
