Ex-NFLer Chad Johnson wants to play for the Canadiens, fight Bruins pair

Chad Johnson (the former NFL-er, not the Isles back-up goalie) has had a storied professional sports career. He was a standout wide receiver over an 11-year NFL career, was one of the final contestants on the 10th season of Dancing with the Stars, became a reserve player for Sporting KC of the MLS, raced a Thoroughbred horse and even gave Pro Bull Riding a shot in 2011.

Now, the Alouettes pass catcher is looking for a new opportunity, and it appears he's bought into the Montreal way of life:

The man formerly known as Ochocinco may be a little out of his weight class against the 6-foot-3, 235-pound Milan Lucic, and definitely would have his work cut out against 6-foot-9, 255-pound ZdenoChara, and his natural speed would have him in a much different role than enforcer. 

Still, the 36-year-old has been brushing up on his hockey, as evidenced by his EA NHL 15 prowess:
