Rafael Nadal
"For me doesn't matter if I'm No. 1, No. 2 or No. 5. When you arrive for play a tournament, the goal is to play well and try to play a good tournament, have a good result, and if is possible win. Doesn't matter if you are No. 1 or No. 5, the pressure is the same because in the end your goal is the same if you are No. 1 or if you are No. 5." Watch Nadal's press conference here .
Caroline Wozniacki
"I don't feel I need to prove anything to anybody. You don't become No. 1 winning small tournaments or doing bad results. You know, I'm a good player. I've done great results. Won six tournaments last year. I don't have to prove anything."
Roger Federer
"I think it's unbelievable what Rafa's been able to do. That in some ways makes him the favorite for this tournament. I mean, he's been playing incredible, an incredible run through the French, Wimbledon, U.S. Open. It was incredible to see. Then obviously it's hard to maintain, but he's going to be for sure ready for this. I'll follow it very closely. If I get a chance, I hope I can stop him, obviously."
Maria Sharapova
"I didn't know if I would ever be back. That was a challenge in itself, just to try to get myself back to playing the sport again. To be honest, on the way back, I never really thought about ranking 'cause every time I stepped on the court when I had an expectation of when I would be back, I would never reach that goal. For me, it was just about going out there." Watch Sharapova's press conference here .
Justine Henin
"Last year was great because it was much more than what I could expect for. I was coming back. I didn't know really what I could wait from this tournament. It was more than a dream. Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the end. So I have some regrets about last year and the final. But the level I played after being away for a year and a half was just great. I love to play here. I hope it's going to help me again this year."
Andy Murray
"I think now, because of the depth in the game and because you have to win seven matches against, you know, always different players, a different day. You turn up and play a bad match, because of depth you can lose. To me, I think if you hold all four Grand Slams, it's one of the best achievements in sport. And I really hope he doesn't do it." Novak Djokovic
"They're the two best players in the world, deservedly. Of course, two biggest favorites in any tournament they play on to win the title. I guess I'm in this small group of players behind them that is trying to challenge them in each event. How far back, I mean, I can't say. Rankings are showing everything, and results they have made are probably two out of maybe five best players to ever play this game. To be able to compete with them is a big challenge. Every time we play, you know, they take my game as well to another level. They make me play better. In case I get to play them in this tournament, I will look forward to it."
