Novak Djokovic's Hero's Welcome

A crowd of nearly 100,000 turned out Monday at a welcoming ceremony for Novak Djokovic on the steps of the House of the National Assembly in Belgrade, Serbia. The hero's welcome came following Djokovic's triumph at Wimbledon and on his first day as the world's top-ranked tennis player.

Many young people had gathered outside the Serbian parliament, waving flags of Serbia and placards that read: "Nola, we love you" or "Nole, the king" in reference to his nickname.
