Memory Lane is a recurring feature in which we dig through SI.com's photo archives for classic pictures.
In 1998, New York's famed Carnegie Deli named a sandwich after Venus Williams. That monstrosity has turkey, roast beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sweet peppers and mayonnaise on whole wheat. It cost $16.95 at the time.
