Yao Ming, the retired NBA star who stands 7-foot-6 and was listed at 310 pounds during his playing days, is one of the few men on earth who could make the 6-2, 200-pound Jo-Wilfried Tsonga look tiny. There they are before Tsonga's second-round match at the China Open in Beijing on Thursday. (The Frenchman would go on to beat Chinese qualifier Zhang Ze 6-3, 6-4.)

The former Houston Rockets center isn't a newcomer to the tennis scene: In 2001, he appeared with Andre Agassi (listed at 5-11) at a charity event during the Heineken Open in Shanghai.
