Radwanska wins twice in one day at Malaysian Open

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) - Top-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska completed two wins on Thursday to reach the quarterfinals of the rain-delayed Malaysian Open.

Radwanska finished off a 6-2, 6-4 win over Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan after their first-round match was suspended by rain on Wednesday at 3-3 in the second set.

After a break, she then defeated Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic 6-4, 6-4 to reach her fifth quarterfinal of the year.

Pliskova's twin sister Kristyna lost Thursday, going down 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 to third-seeded Peng Shuai of China.

Second-seeded Jelena Jankovic beat Jill Craybas of the United States 6-2, 6-0 to set up a quarterfinal against sixth-seeded Ayumi Morita, who defeated Misaki Doi 7-6 (6), 6-2.

In a match between two Australians, Olivia Rogowska knocked out defending champion Jelena Dokic 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2) after more than two hours on court at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort.
