Did Rory McIlroy pop the question?

The Australian reported that Caroline Wozniacki, who arrived with McIlroy on Friday for the WTA's season-opening Brisbane International, was spotted wearing a sizable ring on her left ring finger.

Wozniacki was wearing the gem-encrusted ring alongside a thinner ring on her left hand when she arrived at Brisbane International Airport and again when she came to the Queensland Tennis Centre for the first time. She has not played the Brisbane tournament before. But she removed the rings during a practice session on the outside courts in the shadow of Pat Rafter Arena, the feature court.

Remember when people thought Wozniacki was boring in Australia? Guess she's turned that around.

Wozniacki and McIlroy have been dating since July 2011. They have been as inseparable as two top professional athletes who jet-set from continent to continent can be. McIlroy joins his mate at as many tennis tournaments as his schedule will allow, and Wozniacki is a staple on the golf course.

They've made out in front of a team of Ivy League football players, crashed each other's press conferences and sent out tweets that left even the most cynical in a state of "awwwww."

In other words, theirs has been a very public courtship, one that neither is inclined to hide. Wozniacki's first news conference in Brisbane should be ... interesting.
