What's the best cure for jet lag? Some sushi and a Kardashian, apparently.

Serena Williams rustled herself out of bed to join her pregnant buddy Kim Kardashian and the reality star's family for dinner at Nobu in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. The two have been tight for years, as evidenced by Serena's convenient withdrawal from the Cincinnati tournament in 2011 to attend Kardashian's wedding to Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries.

Here's my question: How did Serena squeeze her swollen ankle into those boots? It's a miracle.

Serena wasn't the only WTA star out and about in L.A. on Tuesday. Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka took in a Lakers game with her Redfoo-infused entourage. Australian Open semifinalist Sloane Stephens did the media rounds, which included an interview with CNN and an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that airs Wednesday.

As for longtime Manhattan Beach resident Maria Sharapova, you have to respect her hustle. After a month of pushing her Sugarpova candy brand in Australia, Sharapova spent part of her evening Skypeing into the ISM candy fair in Cologne, Germany.

PS: As an aside, did you know Sharapova was a member of the Screen Actors Guild? Thanks, Twitter!
