BAD GASTEIN, Austria (AP) -- Yvonne Meusburger of Austria won her first WTA title by defeating Andrea Hlavackova of Czech Republic 7-5, 6-2 at the Gastein Ladies on Sunday.

It was Meusburger's second straight final and third overall. She lost to Simona Halep in Budapest last week and to Francesca Schiavone in Bad Gastein six years ago.

Meusburger didn't drop a set in the tournament, where she has reached at least the quarterfinals every year since it was first held in 2007.

The 86th-ranked Meusburger became the 24th Austrian to win a WTA event and first since Tamira Paszek in Birmingham, England, in June last year. Meusburger was expected to move up around 28 places in the rankings and improve on her career-best 60th.
