Sloane Stephens is used to being being on the big stage under the bright lights with all eyes trained on her every movement, but not without a racket in her hand. The 20-year-old walked the runway for the first time as part of the Just Dance with Boy Meets Girl fashion show at New York's Fashion Week on Thursday night.
“I’m really excited because I’ve never walked in a fashion show before, so this is new for me,” Stephens toldThe New York Times.
Stephens admitted it was a different set of nerves that set in before the show. “On center court it’s like ‘Let’s play already, I just want to get to it.’"
“Before the show it’s nervousness like ‘I don’t want to do it.’ But I’m excited, I think I’ll be proud of it obviously, it’s something I’ve never done before. So I might be up there saying I want to do it again or I might be like -- I’m never doing that again. Hopefully I will have a good experience and want to do it again.”

Before she strutted the runway, Stephens stopped by Fox Sports 1's Crowd Goes Wild to answer some offbeat questions ("What's the name on your fake ID?") and talk about her season so far and what she hopes to accomplish for the rest of the year:
