Watch: Roger Federer nails a backhand winner during Sony Open win

Roger Federer has carried his strong form from Indian Wells into Miami for the Sony Open. Through two matches he hasn't dropped a set and has lost only 10 points on his serve. Things are clearly clicking for the two-time champion, who hasn't made it past the semifinals since he won the tournament in 2006, and he continues to add to his 2014 highlight reel.
Check out the backhand winner Federer stuck against Thiemo de Bakker en route to a 6-3, 6-3 win in the third round. Federer scrambles with some good defense before throwing up a lob. The Dutchman smashes it, but it wasn't enough, and Federer makes him pay with this winner.
