Day 2 play washed out at Stuttgart

STUTTGART, Germany (AP) Heavy rain washed out play on the second day of the Mercedes Cup on Tuesday.

Tournament director Edwin Weindorfer doubted it would cause a problem in the schedule, as they would just use more courts on Wednesday.

Fabio Fognini of Italy is the defending champion.
