Novak Djokovic enters the 2014 US Open as the No. 1 see in the Men's Draw. His first-round opponent will be Diego Schwartzman.

Here is a look back at Djokovic's past performances at the US Open. 

Novak Djokovic was the runner-up of the 2013 U.S. Open, making it to the Finals, where he lost to Rafael Nadal. He has finished second four times.

Djokovic's best finish at the U.S. Open was in 2011, when he won his only U.S Open title. 

In 2006, Djokovic won a double's title at the U.S. Open.

Djokovic​ finished in third place in 2006 and 2007. 

In 2008 and 2009, Djokovic finished as a semifinalist in back-to-back years.

In 2012, Djokovic failed to defend his U.S. Open title. He lost to Andy Murray in the finals.
