Nishikori, Raonic round out field at ATP World Tour Finals

The eight-player field for the ATP World Tour Finals is set. With Kei Nishikori's 3-6, 7-6, 6-4 win over David Ferrer in the quarterfinals of the BNP Paribas Masters of Friday, Nishikori became the first Asian-born player to qualify for the season-ending championships. Nishikori's win also ended Ferrer's chances of qualifying for a sixth straight year and put Canada's MilosRaonic into the World Tour Finals as the final qualifier. Tomas Berdych booked his spot earlier in the day by defeating Kevin Anderson to advance to the semifinals.

Here's a look at the eight-man field for the World Tour Finals, which begins on November 9. The draw will be held on Monday in London.

Novak Djokovic

  • Current ranking: No. 1

  • Titles: 5 (Indian Wells, Miami, Rome, Wimbledon, Beijing)

Roger Federer

  • Season highlight: Leads the tour in match-wins, made the Wimbledon final, back up to No. 2 after falling to No. 8, led Switzerland to the Davis Cup final.
  • World Tour Finals history: A six-time champion, he's playing in his 13th consecutive WTFs. He last won in 2011.

Stan Wawrinka

  • Current ranking: No. 4
  • Match record: 37-15
  • Titles: 3 (Chennai, Australian Open, Monte Carlo)
  • Season highlight: Beat Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal to win his first Slam title at the Australian Open.
  • World Tour Finals history: Qualified for the second time. Made the semifinals in his debut last year.

Tomas Berdych

  • Current ranking: No. 5 (can move up to No. 4 on Monday)

Kei Nishikori

Andy Murray
