Pliskova advances to Dubai Tennis Championships final

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) Karolina Pliskova played through a sand storm and advanced to the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships by beating Garbine Muguruza 6-4, 5-7, 7-5 Friday.

The 17th-seeded Pliskova reached her second final of the year. She will next face either top-seeded Simona Halep and third-seeded Caroline Wozniacki.
