PRAGUE (AP) Two-time Wimbledon winner Petra Kvitova will lead defending champion Czech Republic in next month's first round of the Fed Cup at Romania.

The No. 7-ranked Kvitova announced Monday that she was terminating her partnership with coach David Kotyza after seven years and 17 WTA titles. The move came after she was eliminated from the Australian Open by Daria Gavrilova 6-4, 6-4 in the second round, the third time she's fallen before the third round in the past four years.

Karolina Pliskova, Barbora Strycova and Denisa Allertova were also included Tuesday in the team for the Feb. 6-7 series on an indoor hard court in Cluj-Napoca.

The Czechs are seeking their third straight title.

The Czechs won the only previous encounter against Romania as Czechoslovakia in 1980.
