After cracking the ATP top 100 on Monday at No. 81 following a run to the final at the Memphis Open last month, Fritz checks in with Wertheim in between training in Carson, Calif., ahead of Indian Wells. With his run in Memphis—just his third ATP Tour event—Fritz became the youngest American to reach a title match since Michael Chang in 1989 and talks about his transition from the juniors to the pro level.
