The main draw of the 2016 French Open begins May 22 in Paris.

Serena Williams took home the women’s singles title last year, defeating Lucie Safarova, while Stan Wawrinka won the men’s singles title, his first at Roland Garros, with a 4–6, 6–4, 6–3, 6–4 victory over Novak Djokovic in the final.

Djokovic, the top seed in this year's men's draw, is seeking his first title at Roland Garros and his fourth consecutive Slam title. Williams, the No. 1 seed on the women's side, is aiming for her 22nd Slam title of her career, which would tie her with Steffi Graf for highest all–time in the Open era.

Roger Federer announced Thursday that he would not compete at this year's tournament because he didn't feel fully fit.

You can live stream the tournament on NBC Sports and Tennis Channel Live.
