KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. (AP) Caroline Wozniacki has reached the final at the Miami Open for the first time, the No. 12 seed outlasting second-seeded Karolina Pliskova 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 on Thursday in the first women's semifinal.

Wozniacki will meet either No. 10 Johanna Konta or No. 11 Venus Williams in Saturday's final. The Konta-Williams semifinal is scheduled for later Thursday.

Wozniacki wasted three set points in the opening set, but overcame that more than nicely. She won the first three games of the second set - with Pliskova giving her racket a toss afterward - and then controlled the rest of the match.

The former world No. 1 went over the $23 million career earnings mark with the win. A win Saturday would send her to No. 8 in the world.
