The Cleveland Guardians beat the Detroit Tigers 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon. Brayan Rocchio took advantage of the new-ish extra inning rules and drove in Ramon Laureano on the first pitch he saw in the bottom of the 10th.

It was a rough loss for the Tigers, who took a 4-2 lead into the bottom of the 8th, but proceeded to give up a run in each of the last three innings. Andrew Chafin, the Tigers closer, earned a blown save by giving up an opposite field home run to David Fry in the 9th on a ball that probably should not have gone over the fence. Chafin threw a curve ball on the outside corner that Fry somehow poked over the fence in right field near the foul pole. Chafin's reaction said it all.

After watching the ball hang in the air and go over the fence, Chafin appeared to marvel at the hit for a moment before saying, "How the f---?"

How the heck indeed. It was just Fry's second home run of the season and sixth of his career, but that's why you play the game. To see the impossible happen. And more importantly, to see Chafin react to things like home runs or particularly long questions like this one had trouble with in spring training.

There's something about that mullet and facial hair combination that makes you want to watch Chafin watch 3 Body Problem on Netflix. Now, that's a recap podcast the world needs.
