A.J. Pierzynski's hard slide into home ignited a melee between the Windy City rivals. Both Pierzynski and Barrett were ejected, and the White Sox rolled 7-0 at U.S. Cellular Field.
Albert Pujols continued his meteoric start to the season by smashing his third home run in as many games as the Cardinals swept the Royals in Kansas City. Pujols leads the majors with 22 homers and 54 RBIs.

Brewers closer Derrick Turnbow earned his 13th save of the season as Milwaukee completed a three-game sweep of the Phillies.
The Dodgers dealt the Angels a 16-3 drubbing last Friday, and left fielder Andre Ethier was a large part of their success. Ethier, who made his major league debut earlier this month, had five hits and three RBIs and scored four runs.
Catcher Ivan Rodriguez was tagged out at third base by the Twins' Juan Castro, but the Tigers went on to win their seventh straight game last Thursday at Comerica Park. The last time the Tigers won seven in a row was 1993.
Third baseman Morgan Ensberg smoked a John Koronka offering into the left-field seats last Sunday in Houston. Behind Ensberg's team-leading 14th home run, the Astros defeated the Rangers 5-0 to win the rubber match of their three-game series.
David Wright is mobbed by his teammates after hitting a game-winning single over the head of Yankees center fielder Johnny Damon on Friday. Wright's heroics came with two outs in the bottom of the ninth against Mariano Rivera, and capped a four-run comeback for the Mets at Shea Stadium.
