St. Sebastian's (Needham, Mass.) center Doug Rogers kicks up some ice. Rogers now plays at Harvard and was the New York Islanders' fourth-round pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Notre Dame Prep (Fitchburg, Mass.) forward Michael Beasley gets ready to flush a sick dunk. Beasley is rated the nation's No. 3 overall recruit in the Class of 2007 by RISE and has signed with Kansas State.

Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, Calif.) senior defender Patrick Sigler is one of the country's top players. As a junior, he was named Gatorade California Player of the Year and an NSCAA/adidas All-American.

Ballou (Washington, D.C.) senior defensive lineman Marvin Austin takes a rare time to relax off the field. On the gridiron, Austin is rated the nation's No. 1 defensive player in the Class of 2007 by RISE. He is coveted by the nation's top schools, but has yet commit.

Summit (Frisco, Colo.) snowboarder Jake Black gets some serious air. Black is considered one of the top young boarders in the country.

Dickinson (Dickinson, Texas) hurdler Cordera Jenkins won the gold medal at the 2005 World Youth Championships.

Bellaire (Bellaire, Texas) senior point guard Jai Lucas is rated the nation's No. 48 recruit in the Class of 2007 by RISE. Lucas is the son of former Maryland and NBA standout John Lucas.

Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) Alix Klineman showcases her all-out style of play. The senior, who's considered the nation's top player, helped lead Mira Costa to its third consecutive state title this fall.

Monsignor Pace (Opa Locka, Fla.) boys' basketball stars Ray Shipman, Virgil Philistin, Ray Taylor, Jose Cami and Terrance Saintil look to lead the Spartans to a state title this season.

Millennium's (Goodyear, Ariz.) Skye Elbert finished her high school career as the only eight-time individual state champion in Arizona swimming history. She's now swims at Texas.

Participants in the inaugural Boost Mobile Elite 24 Hoops Classic powered by RISE Magazine relax before the event, which took place on Sept. 1 at Harlem's Rucker Park. The Elite 24 is the first event of its kind in high school sports in that it brought together the nation's top players regardless of grade or sneaker affiliation to play on the world's most famous outdoor court.

Aliquippa (Aliquippa, Pa.) power forward Herb Pope is rated the nation's No. 11 overall recruit in the Class of 2007 by RISE. He signed with New Mexico State.
