Austria's Iraschko-Stolz wins women's ski jump World Cup

OBERSTDORF, Germany (AP) Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria won a women's ski jump World Cup for her first victory of the season on Saturday.

The Olympic silver medalist soared 101 meters for the day's longest jump with her first effort, and 95 with her second for a total of 245.2 points, 7.5 more than Olympic champion Carina Vogt.

Vogt had jumps of 96 and 95.5 meters for 237.7 points, six days after the German's first victory of the season in Zao, Japan.

World Cup leader Sara Takanashi of Japan matched Vogt for distance with both of her jumps but finished with 232.1 points for third place.

Takanashi leads the standings with 356 points, followed by Iraschko-Stolz on 342, and Vogt on 308.

Another ski jump is scheduled for Sunday.
