Caitlin Clark's next stop will be Indianapolis after the former Iowa Hawkeyes superstar was selected by the Indiana Fever with the No. 1 pick in Monday's 2024 WNBA draft.

After the dust settled on the evening in Brooklyn, Clark took a moment to leave a brief message for fans in Indianapolis, introducing herself as she prepares for her rookie season in the WNBA.

"Hey Fever fans, it's Caitlin Clark. I can't wait to get to Indianapolis. I know you guys are excited, I am too. Go Fever!" she said in a video posted on by the Fever's social media team.

Fans in Indiana have been preparing for the arrival of Clark ever since it was determined they'd be picking first in this year's draft. There was never any doubt that Clark's name would be the first off the board, and the Fever had not been shy when it came to dropping hints about their selection leading up to draft night.

Clark also expressed her excitement about bringing her playmaking ability to the Fever, where she'll team up with fellow former No. 1 pick Aliyah Boston.
