AEW has reportedly plucked another big name from the free agency market.

The company has acquired a slew of notable on-air talents this year such as Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada, and Mercedes Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks during her time in WWE. The company hasn't stopped there.

AEW will now welcome a former world champion under the NWA banner.

Fightful first broke the news that Kamille has ended her free agency, signing a contract with AEW. The accomplished talent is a former NWA World Women's Champion. Many wondered where she would end up putting pen to paper, and a report from PWInsider back in February claimed that Kamille's talks with WWE had halted.

A seven-year veteran in the wrestling business, Kamille is getting her big break at a prime 31 years old. She has plenty of time on her side to leave her mark on a bigger stage. It'll be interesting to see how she is utilized on AEW TV and who will be her first opponent.

AEW has yet to officially confirm the news, and perhaps are waiting to save the debut for a surprise either on AEW Dynamite or AEW Collision. Maybe even the AEW Double or Nothing 2024 PPV on May 26th could mark the debut of Kamille, but it's all speculation at this point.
