BREAKING: WWE Friday Night SmackDown Superstar Gone From the Company Amid Cuts

One WWE Friday Night SmackDown talent is no longer a member of the WWE roster.

Another WWE superstar has fallen victim to talent cuts.

The company recently ended the contracts of Jinder Mahal, Xia Li, Veer, Sanga, Von Wagner, and Xyon Quinn. It was reported by Fightful that these releases were made with the feeling from the company that the upside simply wasn't there.

You can add another name to that list.

In the video, Grimes thanked WWE and said all he's ever wanted to do is work in the ring. He said he loved his fans and vowed to figure this out. He admitted WWE is all he's ever wanted to do, but he if has to go elsewhere to prove that the company missed out then that's what he has to do.

It goes to show how strong competition has gotten within WWE, which has never seen bigger business in its illustrious history. Grimes was once one of the hottest acts on the NXT brand, but was never able to find his footing on the main roster.
