Dwight Tarwater, a Cornell transfer, has committed to play at Cal, reports CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.

Tarwater, a 6-foot-6 senior forward, averaged 7.1 points and 5.5 rebounds while flashing three-point range in 26.1 minutes per game last season. Tarwater will join a Cal team that went 21-14 (10-8 in conference) and made the NIT quarterfinals last season. Since coach Mike Montgomery came to Berkeley in 2008, the Golden Bears have gone 130-73.
