Northwestern men's basketball coach Chris Collins will coach the USA Select Team at the USA Basketball Training Camp in Las Vegas, the school announced Monday. 

The Select Team is made up of 13 NBA players, including Marcus Smart, Cody Zeller, Tim Hardaway, Jr. and Doug McDermott

Collins' team will practice against the USA Men's National Team, which is preparing for the upcoming FIBA World Cup in Spain.

Collins has previously worked with the coaching staff for the 2008 and 2012 USA Basketball National Teams, which captured Olympic gold at Beijing and London, respectively.

Collins is coming off his first season at Northwestern, in which the Wildcats finished 14-19 but recorded upsets at Wisconsin and in the Big Ten Tournament against Iowa. Previously, Collins was an assistant coach at Duke. 

The camp begins Monday and runs through Thursday.
