East Carolina wide receiver Cameron Worthy has been suspended two games, the school said on Saturday.

The suspension is the "result of school student code of conduct violation," according to a school news release. Worthy was reportedly involved in a verbal disagreement with another male ECU student.

Over three games this season, Worthy has caught 11 passes for a team-high 302 receiving yards and a touchdown. The senior had six receptions for 224 yards in last Saturday's win at Virginia Tech.

The Pirates, which are 2-1 with wins over the Hokies and North Carolina Central and a loss to South Carolina, host North Carolina on Saturday and face SMU next week.
