Report: Top Missouri commit Terry Beckner Jr. cleared by NCAA

Four-star Missouri incoming freshman Terry Beckner Jr. has been cleared by the NCAA and is now academically eligible to enroll, his father told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
In May, Tigers head coach Gary Pinkel told the Post-Dispatch that Beckner had “work to do” to ensure he would be eligible for the 2015 season.
The 6'4," 298-pound defensive tackle was ranked as the No. 36 recruit in the country and the No. 5 at his position by Rivals. ESPN ranked him as the No. 2 overall recruit.
Beckner's father told the Post Dispatch that his son will move to Columbia on Friday to begin classes at Missouri.
