TCU and SMU meet for an in-state, non-conference showdown on Saturday. The heavily favored Horned Frogs (ranked No. 3 nationally), with a high-octane offense led by quarterback Trevone Boykin, enter their final tune-up before opening their Big 12 schedule at Texas Tech. The Mustangs will look to dual-threat QB Matt Davis and top target Courtland Sutton to produce the points as they bid for a major upset.

SMU is 1-1 after a loss to Baylor and a win over North Texas. TCU is 2-0.
