Watch: Texas loses on special teams miscue second straight week
Saturday September 26th, 2015

For the second week in a row, Texas has lost thanks to a late special teams error.

The Longhorns fell to Oklahoma State on Saturday after freshman punter Michael Dickson couldn’t handle a snap and kicked the ball for a loss of six yards, allowing the Cowboys to take over in field goal range.

Dickson’s gaffe occurred in the final minute of the game and gave Oklahoma State the ball at the Texas 18, with the game tied at 27.

The Cowboys ran two offensive plays before Ben Grogan kicked the game-winning 40-yard field goal with six seconds on the clock. The game ended on the ensuing kickoff.

Last week, Texas lost to California after kicker Nate Rose missed an extra point in the final minute.
