Central Florida quarterback Bo Schneider will transfer to Pittsburgh, he announced on Twitter.
“Thank you to my coaches, teammates and Knight Nation for my time at UCF,” Schneider wrote. “I am transferring to Pittsburgh this summer to play football.”
Schneider started three games last season for the Knights as a true freshman, completing 51.4% of his passes for 534 yards and two touchdowns with seven interceptions.
After sitting out the 2016 season due to transfer regulations, the Dallas, Texas product will have three years of eligibility remaining. The Panthers return Nathan Peterman as their starting quarterback next year.
UCF finished the 2015 season at 0–12.
