The Los Angeles Lakers weren't very good this year. In fact, this is the worst they've been since moving to L.A. It seems like that's been a tough pill to swallow for Kobe Bryant, because rather that grit his teeth through one last game (which the Lakers won), Kobe and his family jumped on a plane for France before the team's final contest.

Lakers officials said there were unaware the Bryant had left the country when contacted by the Los Angeles Times.

Kobe himself later took to Twitter to weigh in on the teams sub-par season, which saw him on the floor for just six games.

We're assuming this tweet was not endorsed by Lakers HQ. [Deadspin]
