Gronk Being Gronk

gronk

It was only a matter of time. On Monday, Julian Edelman tweeted a photo of himself wearing a custom T-shirt of a shirtless Rob Gronkowski enjoying a night on the town. A mere day later, Gronkowski emerged with a T-shirt of Edelman's Gronkowski shirt. I'd normally think this is the greatest thing ever (I am from Boston, after all) but Macaulay Culkin and Ryan Gosling performed the same T-shirt trick last week.

Draft Lottery Fallout

Two major stories emerged from last night's NBA Draft Lottery. The first was the Cavs and the ridiculous luck they had to capture their third No. 1 overall pick in the last four years. The second was Mallory Edens, the 18-year-old daughter of Bucks owner Wesley Edens, and her sudden rise to fame. Also of note: A look at the winners and losers from last night's lottery, a Minnesota fan will now have to eat poop, and potential No. 1 pick Joel Embiid has interesting taste in music.

Good Guy Alert

Mavs owner Mark Cuban helped pay for this couple's wedding after cancer wiped out their savings.

Lovely Lady Of The Day

I got an email from Dan in Australia requesting I make Arielle Reitsma today's LLOD. This is my first request from Australia and a good one. Thanks, Dan.

Who the Hell is Dressing Dwyane Wade?

Not sure which is worse: the overalls Wade wore during the Nets series or last night's disaster.

Someone Needs Decaf

Kim Brooks, the baseball coach at La Mirada (Calif.) High, lost his cool after a recent loss. And by lost his cool, I mean cursed out every player and acted like a complete psychopath.

From the SI Vault

Bill Cartwright, Stacey King and Horace Grant :: AP Bill Cartwright, Stacey King and Horace Grant :: AP

Our friends at Next Impulse Sports had a good time ragging on the awful shirt that former Bulls forward Horace Grant wore to the Hornets headquarters on Tuesday. As this photo demonstrates, Grant (third from left) hasn't always been a bad dresser, unless you count Zubaz and a Malcolm X hat unstylish. Bill Cartwright is also rocking the Zubaz, while a very young J.A. Adande (far right) listens in. For more classic sports photos, visit the SI Vault on Twitter.

Odds and Ends

LeBron James was thisclose to being a member of the Grizzlies ... Andrew Bynum visited Chipotle and allegedly parked in a handicap spot ... The Cubs gave Derek Jeter the No. 2 from the historic Wrigley Field scoreboard ... A former teammate of Peyton Manning created an app out of Manning's struggles in last season's Super Bowl ... Marlins manager Mike Redmond threw a tantrum and was ejected during last night's game ... A high schooler in Connecticut asked Joe Biden to the prom. He couldn't go but sent her a corsage and invited her to The White House ... Will Smith and seven other celebrities who helped fans announce their pregnancy ... The world's oldest cat is 24 and eats KFC.

We're In Love With Mallory

That didn't take long. The newest internet sensation, Mallory Edens, now has her own song.

Rolling Thunder

Thunder fans Kabir Iyengar and sister Karnika created the worst/greatest (I can't tell) rap song of all time.

Life Lessons From Charlie Day

The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star delivered the commencement address at Merrimack College (his alma mater) and it was superb.
