Cowboys follow ugly brawl with social media fail

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is used to dealing with incompetence, but it's usually on the field.

The Cowboys who weren't partying in Mexico got into the football equivalent of a benches clearing brawl as part of a inter-squad practice with the Oakland Raiders Tuesday.

As if that weren't bad enough, the official Cowboys Twitter account not only made light of the idiotic and potentially dangerous dogpile, but encouraged it with this tweet.

You have to imagine Roger Goodell's office saw this and immediately facepalmed. For a league allegedly trying to improve player safety and crack down on violence -- despite speaking out of both sides of its mouth given the suspension of Ray Rice -- a team making a joke about a fight hardly seems on brand.

But the Cowboys are "America's Team" so I guess...ya know #Murica.
