The glitch has since been fixed and For The Win reports that it was likely a function of the web browser confusing his 2014 All-Star Game MVP with the year end award.

Or maybe the search behemoth just used a little bit of its computing power to take a peek at Trout's impressive numbers so far this year and just made an educated guess.
