Metta World Peace is taking this Friendly Panda thing seriously. A few weeks ago we told you that the former NBA star is considering a name change to "Friendly Panda" as he embarks on his first season in the Chinese Basketball League. Yesterday, World Peace told courtsideaccess.com that he plans to wear a sneaker with a detachable panda head during the games.

Michigan students learned this week that they could score two tickets for this weekend’s game with Minnesota with the purchase of two Coke products, a deal that even had the school's golf team poking fun at it. But the school, in what seems like a total CYA move after all the bad press, quickly pulled the deal and blamed it on a "miscommunication in the approval process."
