Major League Gaming's first arena is coming to Columbus, Ohio
Major League Gaming is planning to open the first "eSports" arena in the United States when MLG.tv Arena opens its doors in Columbus, Ohio, at the end of October.
The Columbus arena will feature sound-proof booths, bleachers and video screens for fans to watch the gaming action, according to SBNation.
MLG has previously announced plans to build a 15,000-seat arena for the burgeoning competition circuit in China.
The new facility's first competition will be a Call of Duty: Ghosts tournament, with the winning team taking home a $30,000 payday.
