LeBron James will produce and appear in upcoming Disney show
LeBron James's Springhill Production Company is premiering a new show called Becoming on the Disney XD channel later this month, which will use archival footage and interviews to detail the journeys of professional athletes, with the premiere episode focusing on LeBron.
The four-time MVP released a statement about the project saying he hoped to provide inspiration to kids like him.
"I'm really excited about helping develop 'Becoming' and bringing this kind of program to kids. Sports and athletes were my inspiration growing up. It was the stories about Michael Jordan, Deion Sanders and Allen Iverson that kept me dreaming. When I learned that they had some of the same struggles and challenges I did, it made everything seem possible. That's what 'Becoming' is all about."

James' first foray into TV production, Survivor's Remorse, began airing on the Starz Network last month, and tells the semi-autobiographical story of a young NBA player and his friends and family.
