The city of Cleveland is abuzz as residents get ready for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers' season opener, an event James called "probably one of the biggest sporting events." Buzz is so big it has the rumor mill working overtime as to which celebrities will attend the game.

Here are some of the celebrities believed to have been sighted in the Cleveland area on Thursday in the run up to the big game.

Jay Z and Beyonce:

Justin Bieber

Justin Timberlake:

Drake (of course):

Cavaliers part-owner Usher:

Jadakiss:

This is all on top of confirmed appearances from Kevin Hart and Kendrick Lamar as part of TNT's pregame festivities, according to Cleveland.com.

And it would not be a party in Cleveland if everyone's favorite backup quarterback, Johnny Manziel, were not attending.

Cleveland is going from "Mistake by the Lake" to the height of glitz and glamor for at least one night, all courtesy of LeBron's homecoming.

No sightings yet of Cleveland's other favorite son, Drew Carey.
