After complaints from fans, two English Premier League clubs -- Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal -- have banned the popular “selfie sticks” from their home stadiums.

According to the British website Metro, the stupid cellphone extension sticks will no longer be allowed at White Hart Lane or Emirates Stadium.

In this, the greatest age of narcissism in human history, it was inevitable that someone would design something to enhance the possibility of snapping that perfect drunken selfie to post on social media.

The two clubs site safety concerns for the ban -- quite possibly the safety of the idiot with the stick.
